Rape Crisis Intervention

What exactly is sexual assault?  Sexual Harassment?  What should a woman do who has been raped?  How can a teenager avoid dangerous situations when dating?

Stepping Stone's Rape Crisis Intervention program gives women options, and answers questions.  The program offers emotional support and information to both men and women on sexual assault for victims and their families, and promotes community awareness on recognizing sexual assault and sexual harassment.

Program components are:

  • Crisis Intervention:  We're on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist adults who have been assaulted recently or in their childhood, and children and adolescents

  • One-to-one support and support groups

  • Outreach:  Schools, businesses, health fairs and community-at-large

  • Hospital Emergency Room response calls
