Please follow these instructions for removing evidence on your computer that you used a response form from this web site, or have emailed us from our contact list.

1. Open Outlook Express (or other email program you may be using).  If you are using an email provider such as Yahoo or MSN, these steps may not be necessary as your email is password protected off of your computer.

2. Open the "Sent" folder to display all of the emails you have recently sent.

3. Delete these emails

4. In your Outlook Express tool bar, click on "Edit"

5. Click "Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder"

6. Open your address book to see if any addresses appear with a @steppingstoneshelter.org.  If so, delete these from your address book

7. Close Outlook Express

It should be understood that these steps will prevent the basic computer user from tracking internet use and emails sent.  If someone has a higher level of education in computer systems, evidence can still be tracked despite following these steps.  The average user, however, will not have the knowledge to do so.
